It all began with a six month gastronomic trip around Italy! Gavin took a sabbatical from work as a Chef and whilst winding his way from North to South, he got to enjoy fresh handmade Italian pesto at every destination. Inspired by their delis and love of fresh food, he decided to create his own fresh pesto for the British shelves!

 

In 2006 Suffolk farmers’ markets and farm shops were the first to approve the Purely Pesto recipe. Basil and Sundried tomato were given the thumbs up and our product range quickly grew from 2 to 30, to include fresh soups, hummus and dips!

 

Our aim, 11 years on, remains the same; to provide our customers with a fresh product, made in small batches by Gavin, with no compromise on quality, ensuring every pot is bursting with flavour!
